On the road again. This was one of my favorite days of the trip thus far. We visited the Museo de la Pachamama which is the word for Earth in the indigenous tongue. The panda had to make an appearance.
From there we cruised right through Cafayate and out the other side to check out the features lining Route 68. The sun came through enough to highlight the magnificent Garganta del Diablo which pìctures fail to do justice. The Ampitheater was next and this place was spectacular in size and scope. I had never seen something natural like this carved into the landscape. From there we took our sweet time getting back to Cafayate where we had the best empanadas, tamales, and humitas in my life. All in all a great day.
